I was looking at a Sig P239 Tactical and was inquiring if anyone has any experience with them? I will most likely get an extra non threaded barrel for it if I CCW it. I like that they come with NS and SRT already installed. Also, I have no plans to put a suppressor on it.

Had one years ago and it was a nice pistol. Don't see to many of those around so I'd grab it.

I'd rather be hated for who I am than loved for who I'm not.

If you are not going to use a can, why do you want a 239 Tactical

Then you are going to buy a second barrel for carry . . .
Unless the 239 Tactical is at a give-a-way price, it sounds like you are spending too much money for a carry gun

They are nice guns. Depending on price I would get it. I also wouldn't bother changing out the barrel for CCW. If anything it might give you a slight increase in muzzle velocity.

I had one years ago and couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with the standard barrel but with a threaded barrel, it was like I turned into a marksman. I am sure it was a bad barrel as the gun itself is an awesome performer and will last forever.

Well, I went ahead and picked it up today; BNIB. I already have a P239 9mm DAK so I am familiar the platform. I am just drawn to these fine semi compacts! I believe I got it for a great price and I think I will look for a standard barrel just because. Certainly don't need it, but why not!

I have one in .40. I am consistently astonished at how well it shoots, and I don't know why.
