Obviously the X-full grip module works with a full size slide, but I dont like how it looks (too many rail teeth). Can I use an X-carry grip module? I know that I can use a standard Carry module but unsure on the X series since they differ in length form the standard, and I know an X-compact module does NOT work.

The x-compact model is actually made for the subcompact slide. Sig rebranded their subcompact to be an "x-compact" when they stuck an x-grip on it and raised it from 12 rounds to 15. So far as a full length slide, you can put a full size, or carry or compact grip on it. The difference is that the carry grip module fits the 17 round magazine, while the compact module takes the 15 round magazine (you can also use the 17 round mag, but it will stick out the bottom of the mag well). The dust cover length is the same on the compact and carry, because both are designed for the compact-length slide (not x-compact...which is really a subcompact slide). Both the carry and compact grip modules fit the compact slide full-length, or to the end of the slide. You can also use a carry or compact grip module on a full length slide (eg, P320F, etc); there's enough grip module dust cover to overlap the slide dust cover, and the grip module dust cover does not extend to the end of the slide. If you pick up a Wilson grip module, their carry grip module will house a 17 round magazine, and will extend to the end of a compact slide, or not quite to the end of a full length slide; it will work with either. Don't get the Carry II module, if you're looking to put it with a full length slide, because the Carry II is meant for the subcompact/x-compact slide. It doesn't have enough dust cover for the full length slide.

Yes. The X-carry is the same as a normal carry sized slide. My two 320's are setup as a full and a carry with X-series grips, I use the carry grip for full and compact slides.

It's not an ideal setup, but a Full size slide will technically fit and function on an XCompact grip. You'll just have a gap on the bottom of the slide with a section of exposed recoil spring, due to the Subcompact-length rail/dust cover. Here's a Full slide on a normal Subcompact grip, demonstrating the gap: The X-Carry grip is obviously a better choice, and works perfectly with no gap.

I'm a BIG fan of the X-Carry Grip w/ X-Full Slide configuration! While black goes with everything, THIS is my favorite Go-Go-Gadget Pistol combo... ____________________________________________________________ If Some is Good, and More is Better.....then Too Much, is Just Enough !!
