piedrarcSight info wanted on long extractor P229's in 9x19
Seems like the common sight combo among the 9mm Legion 229 is #6 front and #8 rear.
Anyone else with long extractor 229's in 9mm have similar experiences?

12131Why 8 & 6, and not 8 & 8?

Thats what I found odd. My old German 228 has 8 & 8, but 3-229 Legion samples I've fired have 6 up front and 8 rear. All 9x19 guns.

dehughesIIRC, 8/8 raises the POI from 6/8. I prefer a 6 o'clock so I land on 8/8, which is what my old P229 in 9mm has, as does my 239 in 9mm. 220 in .45 had 6/8 which I changed to 8/8 and prefer that POI.

Yes, I like the 8/8 combo.
The odd thing I'm noticing is the 229's I've seen so far are 6/6 and 6/8. I'm guessing the factory has a wide acceptable area of combat accuracy they look for, thats if they even test for accuracy.

linkscoachMy 229-1 is 6/8 also. Shoots POA/POI with 124's.
