- The only green frame one is the current Army Green M11-A1, which is not a real M11/P228, anyway.
- About stainless P228, there are no known full stainless P228s. Only half stainless ones, as noted below.
- The stainless
frame P228 of 2012 and 2013. The slide is still the classic folded carbon steel. There were 20 of these made in Germany and imported by SIG NH.
- The stainless
slide P228 made for the NJSP. There were 2 examples that were made by SIG NH in 2007.
- Full Ni and 2-tone Ni P228s were made during the 90s, except one. The last full Ni P228 that I'm aware of is the KH (1997). And the last 2-tone Ni one is from 2005.
