Difficulty converting to .40 S&W on a P-320 with manual safety Login/Join

I have a P-320 M17 that is set up for 9mm rounds. It has a manual safety. I recently purchased the conversion kit for the .40 S&W and also another .357 Sig barrel so I could shoot three rounds with a single FCU. That versatility was the selling point for me in the gun. I struggled to remove the FCU from the stock for the 9mm. My struggle now is getting the FCU into the stock for the .40 S&W. The stock for the .40/.357 has the slot in it for the manual safety. Both stocks look almost exact. I can’t seem to get the rear of the FCU into the slot, the manual safety into its slot, and the trigger in place all at the same time. Any suggestions on how to get the FCU set in this new stock, on the versions with the manual safety? I appreciate the help!

What type of conversion kit did you get? Full size, Carry or Compact? You only need to change the grip module if your conversion kit uses compact magazines. I would just do a search on YouTube for videos showing the swapping of the FCU with manual safety to other grip modules for tips. It's easier to watch it being done than having someone try to explain it in text format.

Here's one.

I put the back end in the slot and rotate the safety in. Then depress the trigger to get it to go in to the slot. You can then rotate the FCU in to place and push it back to align.
