…have been out of stock for a long time, so I'm on their "notify me" list and hope the wait won't be too long. Have any of you guys bought one of these P-PAK-1 kits and how do you like them? My goal is to get rid of the MIM junk in my SIG all-stainless steel P229(40 caliber) and send the hammer, trigger, de-cocking lever, slide stop and mag release button to CCR for refinishing in a matching stainless color. That pistol is the only 40 I own and it's built like a little tank. Now it deserves an upgrade in parts!

I can tell you the second generation of the kit is still a work in progress (sorry, no ETA), but from those installations I handled at the NRA show when I was helping at the booth, I think you will really like it.

Evil exists. You can not negotiate with, bribe or placate evil. You're not going to be able to have it sit down with Dr. Phil for an anger management session either.

That's interesting there is a second generation of the kit in progress. The website didn't make any mention of it---or I overlooked it. Were there flaws in their first generation?
