Ohter than the one thread about the awesome P365, I haven't see too much of a buzz here about the other Shot Show 2018 Sig offerings.

I'm totally excited about the civilian version of the M17, at a price point around $650-700 (likely $1,500+ in California via private party transfer), but it seems to me Sig is firing on all cylinders right now. We are living in the best of times for Sig lovers. Kinda like the Saban years for Bama fans, or the Pete Carroll years for USC fans.

M-17

Looks like they launched a poor man's Legion series called the Sig Select Series.

Looks as if Sig used the remains of the P224 variants control levers for the select series.

SIG only has one US manufacturing facility and Germany can't help, so the P210A will be scarce with all these new plastic gun offerings. Why aren't more people importing the German P210 using third party exporters that's selling German X5s.

It's not SIG related but I was extremely happy with B&T's offerings. They're bringing their whole military style firearm catalog to the US in pistol form, and making it easy to convert them to SBR form later. I got to shoot the USW at the ATAC range day on Monday and that thing is a hoot. It's definitely on my want list. I was hitting at 75 yards effortlessly. Plus they're bringing kick ass suppressors over to the US via HK now too.

This was my first shot show, and while it may not have had as many big time releases as some previous shows, I thought it was a great show. There was lots of good stuff going on if you were looking in the right place, maybe just not as blockbuster as a Memorial Day weekend movie release but great stuff. I found things I want to buy in he near future from Nightforce, Vortex and Leopold (their Mark 5 offering was awesomeness on the AI AT rifle I was shooting out to 800+ yards) optics. I really want to add an HK VP9 Tactical now after shooting one and will likely be adding 3 B&T pistols to my collection. HK is going full speed ahead in their Columbus, GA manufacturing facility and is squarely aimed at the US consumer market now. SIG's 365 was wildly popular and it was a bit of a wait to put your hands on one despite how many they had out on display. I honestly thought that the newer offerings seemed to be more complete, better tested and ready for prime time than a lot of the offerings of the last 8 years or so that often seemed rushed into production to capitalize on the hot market.

Thanks! Mtcowboy deserves much credit. I just posted another video in that thread a few minutes ago featuring Bud Fini of Sig Ammunition.

Is B&T opening a manufacturing plant in the US to get around 922r? Can Trump unilaterally rescind 922r? There's so many things he owes us for helping get him in office. 922r, reciprocity, SHARE/HPA to name a few.

B&T is opening a facility in the US, but according to them it is only for suppressors. All of their firearms are imported, which is why they come in as pistols. They really are working hard to market to the US though, which is good news for us because they've got some really cool stuff and they are very busy filling military contracts too. After spending a decent amount of time on the range with B&T as well as at their booth, I am a huge fan.

I hear you. The B&T bug hit me hard thanks to one of the threads here on Sigforum. I think they have one of the hottest, if not THE hottest, game in town. HK really needs to roll out some American versions of the UMP, proper normal 30 round capacity this time. They could call it the Tactical Response UMP.

Omega is basically making receivers already. The cost of a lower, caliber conversion kit, and receiver to make a UMP is relatively competitive with some of the higher end "sub"guns out there.

I watched the M17 commercial model video. I'm disappointed what SIG is trying to pawn off as a M17 to civilians. They should either make it authentic or not offer it at all.

I did see a new 210 here in PA . I did not get it .I think the new M17 should have the US maks and the matrix bar code , also the spanner type key lock . I was hot on one but if its not right forget it . I have the Beretta M9 the one 1st that came in a case with , belt Army, manual, mag pouch . its marked right also has a bar code sticker on bottom of dust cover . Looks real deal. I hope the Sig is .
