So today, I joined a local handgun shooting league. It was just a small group of shooters...it was an amazing time.

Brought out my HK P2000 9mm (V-3) to use on the competition as I really love the platform.

The other shooters were using a couple of 2011's, a Beretta 92, and HK VP9, a Sig P226, and what looked like an Echelon. I was really surprised that there were so few striker fired pistols. The Hammer fired gun is a under-appreciated system.

I definitely wasn't #1, but I did ok for my first class. I will say the P2000 handled itself well, even for gun based on 25 year old technology.

Great time, met lots of really nice people, and learned a lot.

I need to make time and get back to IDPA meets.
Never realized how fast I can miss......
