I think I got a good deal considering the quality pieces in both. Both are used and have a few marks here and there but to fine 1911s for sure.

Wow..very nice. That feature atop the slide, on the Helton Custom. We would enjoy seeing it. Those serrations make a 1911 just pop.

If I had the funds to boot, I would have a Hilton Yam Springfield. That ones had my fancy lately.

Thank you. That is some fine work and not everyone can cut those. Time was when nearly every pistol or revolver had a serrated sight plane.

DL, you are welcome. One of my favorite S&W revolvers is the Model 27 with the checkered top strap. I agree with you on this.

Beautiful 1911’s, both of them. I’ve always liked the bobtail frame. I’ve got a Kobra Carry that I’ve owned a long while.
