fquicoH&K USP Compact 9mm Trigger
Recently, I rotated my Carry to HK USP Comp9. It carries very comfortably, and while carrying, I take it to the range frequently. It is a comfortable shooter and very accurate for me at 15yards. Over the weekend, I went to the range again with a CZ P07 and a Beretta PX4 Compact. My goal was to rotate out of the HK and noticed that the trigger on the HK is not as good as on either the PX4 and P07. I have worked on the trigger and Hammer on the PX4 to decrease the pretravel and over travel. The P07 does not need that work since it has a great trigger pull. However, the HK needs some work not just for overtravel or pretravel but to lighten the DA trigger pull. Being a "do-it-yourself" gun-tinker, What work and changes would you recommend improving the HK USP Comp. Trigger?
Many Thanks in advance.

BlackwaterFirst thing is a Wolff 10# hammer spring and maybe a Firing Pin block spring. Improved the DA trigger for mine and no issues with light strikes.

RNshooterLight LEM would be my choice. Well, it is my choice, on my USP-C.

Chance228Sent my .40 USPc to Robert Burke, The Sig Armorer, for a trigger job. I am pleased with the results. Smoother, lighter DA trigger pull along with a much shorter reset. Turnaround time was quick as well. Shipped there and back in under 3 weeks.

fquicoThank you all!
I have on order from Wolff Springs a #12 and #10 hammer spring.
I registered with HKparts for a Match Trigger Kit on back order,

FYI: I am a DA/SA guy and shy away from DAK, or LEM or any such variant.
Thank you though,
Quico

I put the match trigger in a USPc I owned a while back, and it was a much better gun. but I think the lighter FPBS and the lighter hammer springs made the biggest difference. the lighter TRS sometimes made it feel like the trigger wasn't going to reset. i kept the match trigger (without the overtravel screw, since it doesn't work in the Compacts) in it, but swapped back to the factory TRS, and liked that better.
but do NOT try to mess with the TRS without HK Parts TRS needle nose pliers. definitely a must-have.

The Match Trigger is not for the Compact.
I put the MT on all my full size USP's.
For a trigger upgrade on the Compact all is needed (what I did) is install the full-size trigger/sear, a little polishing and a new lighter spring.
PS I have nine USP's in various flavors.
