tleo205Brought my new Sig toy home
Thanks guys. I have a old photobucket account and was trying to copy and paste the links but no image shows up. I'll try some more...maybe it's something I'm not doing correctly.

SigFanThat’s very exciting! I hope to find a deal like that someday. Congrats!

Blume9mmWhen $%oto@ucket, tried to rip everyone including me off I moved over post images and have been happy.
https://postimages.orgor email me the picture and I'll post it for you, will take me all of about one minute of my time.

I think I'll put a 9mm barrel in one of my P239s with the 40/357 slide and spring and see what happens. Headed to my gun club in a while....

Thanks, I'll check that web site. In the meantime, sent you some pictures. Interested to hear how the 9mm barrel does with the 40.357 spring. I'm going out in a bit myself to a indoor range and give her a try.

tleo205Thanks for the help Blume9mm. Took her to the range and put around 300 rounds down range. I tested HST, Ranger T and Ranger Bonded and all ran perfectly. Also some S&B fmj with no problems and then a brand called Geco that they sold me. Had several problems with it...some fail to eject and weak loads that fired but not cycle the slide.
These grips have to go though....way to slick and hard to hold onto with the snappy .40 so will look for some Hogue

cslingerOdd about the GECO as that is generally a good quality ammo. Give her a good cleaning/lube maybe leave her slidelocked for a night or two and see if that loosens her up to the lower spec stuff.
I have hogue G10s on my P239 and they are awesome.

Chris

Blume9mmYes, the factory grips are okay but not my cup of tea....
then again I put Crimson Trace Grips on mine with the laser...
but my second choice would be Hogues....
G10s would dress it up nice.

Strider41Congrats on a great find and buy. I’m looking to buy a 357 Sig barrel for my 239 40. They are hard to find.

Yep, hard to find for sure. I may go ahead and buy one from Bar-Sto. .40 is a fine round but I like the 357 better and to me it doesn't recoil as much as the .40 in this pistol.
