I saw the other post, and didn’t want to hijack his thread, but I’m looking for opinions specifically on lights for my Glocks. I just bought a 19x, and I also have a gen3 17. I’m considering the TLR 7a with high switches for the 19x, I think an x300 or TLR 1 would make the gun a bit front heavy? As far as the 17, I’m going either x300 or TLR 1 HL, but if I go x300, should I go A or B?

"Front heavy" is not necessarily a bad thing. The bit of extra weight from the bigger light helps control muzzle flip.

The big thing you'll want to consider is whether you mind the extra length at the muzzle end. Basically, you'll eliminate any advantage from the shorter 19X muzzle length if you slap a full-sized light on it. This is mainly a concern if you frequently carry in a concealed OWB holster where the extra length can poke below your cover garment, or have happen to have issues with a longer muzzle getting hung up while sitting.

I use TLR-1s on all my G17s, G19, and G45, and have no issues. But if you definitely want to retain the shorter muzzle length on the 19X, then go with the -7A.

Also, you'll be able to share many holsters between your 17 and 19X if you use the same model of full-sized light on both. By that I mean a G19X with TLR-1 fits in just about any holster for a G17 with TLR-1. But a G19X with TLR-7 won't work with most holsters for a G17 with TLR-1, so you'll have to buy twice as many.
