Right here (raising hand). P239 (also have .a 40 barrel) and P229 (also have a .40 barrel) and Glock G27 with a G33 barrel and mags (it's a G27, so... also have a .40 barrel).

Ammo-on-hand drove my choice. The answer is "a bunch, in both practice and duty/carry flavors." Improvements to 9mm loads are absolutely a good thing, but they don't reduce the effectiveness of what's in my 40/357 stockpile.

My P320 started as a 9mm
Made a trade [with a member here] for a 357Sig barrel/slide/mags carried it that way for a few years
Ammo supply just about dried up locally, very little on the shelf at my usual stops, and at a pretty significant premium to 9mm
Traded again [different member on here] and converted back to 9mm

I really liked how the 357Sig shot, and it always seemed to turn a head or two at the indoor range.

The Enemy's gate is down.

Magazine capacity?

When not packing my PDP, I opt for the Glock 23 in .40 loaded with Underwood 180s. Fo-tay is not dead!

Normally, I carry a G19 in 9mm, but have nearly every major caliber of handgun available to me. My favorite is any revolver chambered in .357 Mag and especially .44 SPL. If I had to defend myself I'd much prefer a full frame sized revolver any day.

22lr………because it’s cheap like me!

Seriously, I carry a 9mm, or a 45, and in the summer often a 380 and can hit A zone head shots quickly with any of them.

Don’t have a 40 anymore and gave away ammo to friends that still have them, but if I got a deal on a gun I really wanted and it was a 40, I’d start stocking up again.

I sold the last 300 rounds of 357sig to focus on 40SW and 9mm for full size guns and 380 for everyday carry. That said, I might think different if I had a “huge” quantity of 357sig.

We're up against a big mountain with artesian springs that attract the game. We have frequent predators including mountain lion and black bear. The border collie always gets and armed escort outside. 40 is my minimum in a P229 even though I've passed the 80 mark. Wrists are strong, mind may be weak!
