Go on YouTube and search "25 cent Glock trigger polish". The videos walk you through the process, which is pretty simple. Like all DIY polishing, a little is all you need. I use Flitz as a polish medium.

My Gen 3 19 is totally stock but it rarely gets to go out.

My range toy G44 I bought used at work. Trigger was “gritty” feeling. I polished the internals including the sides of the trigger that had some evidence of scratches. Wasn’t happy with the results. Installed a Ghost Link, that helped a lot. Finally put a Timney trigger in it and am now happy with how it feels.

G30SF has OEM G20 smooth trigger with Ghost Tactical connector.

G34 has factory trigger/connector/springs.

I don't 'like' Glocks that much. I respect them and am able to hit what I want when I apply myself.

I left the G34 stock as it is a home defense firearm, and here in California I didn't want anyone to have a single modification to try to use to paint me as a deranged gun owner.

$0.25 polish job, Glock minus connector and on a few of them I installed the Tango Down/Vickers trigger pad. I like that it uses the OEM trigger bar so it keeps it close to stock.

My gen5 G26 has the Haley skimmer in it by accident.

By that I mean I bought it used, and the Haley was already installed. I'm not a huge fan of aftermarket triggers in the gen5 because once broken in, it's pretty decent in stock form. However, I'm not so dogmatic that I will pretend it's not better. It is.

I often replace the shoes with a flat trigger. Proper polishing without getting aggressive and changing angles gives you what a bunch of rounds would do at an earlier point and isn't a bad idea if done correctly.

I have owned or do own a dozen or so over the years. Take out of box clean inspect and shoot as is.
I have never been a tinkering sort of guy and am not about to start.

Just yesterday I shot a match with my out of the box 19 gen 5. It still has the plastic sights even.
There were close to 120 competitors most of which were running tricked out optic equipped guns, including staccato, 1911’s, tinkered on sigs and M&P’s
I came in 13th overall with my basic box stock stuff. The couple misses I had through the seven stages were entirely my doing, and a putting different parts in my gun would not change that.

My Glocks have Agency trigger, Overwatch, and stock. No issues with any of them.

$.25 polish job and a NY1 (factory parts) on the two I own.
I like the feel and don't notice the slightly higher trigger pull.

Seriously, contact surfaces of internal parts where movement and friction occur. Trigger bar, firing pin block (some do firing pin block channel), connector etc.

Stock G19 Generation five here, after 1500 rounds the stock trigger is excellent in my opinion.

I have a Gen. 4 model 20.

The stock trigger pull was 5.28 pounds. I installed a $4 connector and $3.50 6-pound trigger spring. The trigger pull is now 4.0 pounds. I bought the supplies from Lone Wolf.

$7.50 will transform any stock Glock trigger.

With the exception of my two current WCV Gen 5 19s, all of my Glocks (51 other ones) have had stock OEM triggers.

The WCV Gen 5 19s have, and I'll quote the web page:
"A duty action tune using the TangoDown/Vickers Tactical flat-faced trigger pad"

I did buy a SSVI Tyr Trigger for a Glock 43, but it took three months to arrive, by that time, the trigger on that 43 had smoothed out enough that I didn't install the SSVI trigger on it. I ended up giving it to a friend for his 80% 43 build.

For the handful of assorted Glocks I’ve owned, I’ve kept them all factory stock. I really like the trigger as Glock provides it, but will also admit that I’ve not had a chance to give one a test-drive that had been modified from stock…so, I do not know what I may have been missing!

After tinkering with 2 GPTs in 2 Gen 5 G19s (including numerous connectors), I am back to a pretty boring trigger setup in my carry pistol:

* OEM '-' connector
* OEM red XP FP spring (I used to shoot a lot of cheap Russian steel case with hard primers - back when such ammo was still readily available. I still miss Brown Bear 115 FMJ!)

That's it. No polishing.

When I say I "tinkered" with the GPT - I actually got it VERY nice by doing this:

* Increase trigger spring weight (more positive reset, while also solving the slight frame catch that the original GPT trigger dingus exhibited)
* Ghost TCT 5.0 connector, fitted to remove the overtravel

For my carry Glocks though, I am one of those weirdos who likes the SCD. And GPT will not work with that product.

It's been about 5 years, but I was happy with the Suarez flat trigger that took out a lot of the take up while still staying drop safe. I couldn't find it on his website, so I'm not sure if it's available.

OverWatch polydat in mine. Curious about the glock performance trigger though.
