Just because something is legal to do doesn't mean it is the smart thing to do.

Anybody own or owned one in the past?
Just wondering how they compare to the Judge.

My now deceased shooting buddy had a Thunder Five for years and shot the hell out of that thing. He loved it!! I told him only a mother could love that "ugly thing", but it didn't phase him.

My father drooled over it when they came out. He never pulled the trigger on one. They were ahead of their time. Way before the judge.
They are big and ugly.

There's so much I don't know, never heard of a Thunder five. Here I thought the Judge was somebody's idea of fresh thinking. That said, the Judge is the most unpleasant hand gun I've shot, the squishy grips were the worst grips ever. So yeah, not going to hunt a Thunder five down any time soon but thanks for the education.
