I just went and looked. It is a double stack magazine didn't even didn't even notice that. Trying to figure out how old this is. Apparently it is not a 1905 model it may be a model 1907 or a 1917. |

| Also found this "it is actually a striker-fired gun; the "hammer" is actually a cocking lever". |

| A co-worker of mine carried one for years and swore by it. I made lots of fun of it until I shot it. Very reliable and accurate. Nice little pistol and ahead of its time!

Thanks for the tip! Found the serial number. Looks like it was made in 1920. quote: Originally posted by hjs157: Also, be mindful of your grip should you decide to fire the pistol. The little bastard will bite the web of your shooting hand in ways the Walther PPK never dreamed of.
Again thanks.. Can see now I need to hold this pistol higher near eye level to shoot it. A Lower hold will remove skin on my big hands |

| I think I remember seeing one of those 10 shots quick ads where someone had killed an alligator with one. |

| "Endorsed by Buffalo Bill" Well sheet... can't do much better than that. I just realized this Savage will be 100 years old next year. Going to clean and lube it up and try shooting it. How often does a guy get to shoot a 99 year old gun. |

| Those are neat and on my "if it's available" list of my C&R sickness. I didn't think much of 32 until I shot my dreyse. Fun little guns, I imagine this is no different. |

Never seen that movie, looks like I need to see it now. |
