I have been looking at laser dry fire systems and the SIRT Pistol looks to be the most practical. And it is available in a P320 clone. But at $400 its pricey. Anyone have or use one? What is your experience with it? If anyone else is using a laser dry fire system, chime in with your experience, too. I have not made up my mind on anything yet. Thanks in advance! I have one I’ve owned for years, and it works well enough that I spent dept. money on buying a couple to use in training. I like the fact that you can set them up for one color laser activated as soon as you get on the trigger, switching to another color when the sear trips. Not sure about the Sig version, but the glock one feels like a plain glock trigger. In addition to being good for dry fire practice they are nice for hands on training that requires a “non gun” that fits in a duty holster. We use them for mock scenes, weapon retention training, etc. Bill R

I've had one for 6 or 7 years that's had a lot of use between my wife and I. If it broke tomorrow, I'd order a new one.

Sounds good so far.... What battery does it use and how long does it last? End of Earth: 2 Miles Upper Peninsula: 4 Miles

I have the Glock 17 pro model and I like it for what it’s worth. I don’t really use the red take up laser though the green shot indicating laser is great, even outdoors. I have found that the battery (CR123) lasts quite a while, though I had a hard time getting it changed out so I sent it in and they changed it and adjusted the trigger for me. It’s a nice training tool as it feels like my competition 17, and though I cannot get recoil management training I can at least get every other aspect. You can change out the sights and even the mag release I think, which I have not yet done.
