If the sight is that tight and the point of impact is that far off, I wouldn't keep beating on it, I'd send it back to Ruger. This makes the assumption that this isn't shooter error or getting used to a new gun.

I had the same problem with the front on mine. Ended up having to send the slide back to Ruger. Call and let them know, and they should take care of you for the price of postage.
