So I've watched Sig Sauers website for P320 3.9" stainless steel bead blasted slides ( non optics ), for a very long time and they've been out of stock, Sig wants you to buy the Optics slides so they Conveniently don't put them in stock. None on the Internet either. So since I've taken up building P320's I've decided to do it myself especially since I have a couple black Nitron 320 slides laying around collecting dust. I've wanted a 320 with stainless slide and the similar AXG module to add to my others 320's I've built. Anyway I have unearthed my sand blasting equiptment and have ordered some #10 glass beads ( fine size) and ordered some wet/dry sand paper 1000 to 3000 grit to get it to the level of finish I'm looking for. The glass beads may be enough, that's what Sig does to finish. I'm not worried about it turning out because I do lots of things that require more than average abilities, ie. cabinet building for a hobby over a long time. So, has anyone here done this to their guns and if so how did they turn out? Once I get it finished I'll post some pictures and let you know how it went

My other Sig is a Steyr. |
Did a few caliber conversions with other pistols. Haven't scratched the P320 itch yet, but it is next on the list. Let us know how yours turn out.

Weird, I guess your online searching skills are about the same as those of Ray Charles. Good luck on your project, though it sounds like you won’t need any with your higher than average abilities. _________________________ "An appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile - hoping it will eat him last” - Winston Churchil
