I just got my P320 legion case from sig today in the mail along with the challenge coin and I am really happy with what showed up.

It looks like they updated the legion cases with 5.11 "Legion Range Ready Bag". It is legion gray and has a little sig sauer/legion branding on it. I am happy with this because I will actually use it to carry pistols to the range, instead of letting the old style case sit on the shelf.

I am not sure where you are going with this but from the looks of the website it looks like all of the legion pistols are coming with this case, not just the P320.

The old case is next to useless. No handle but it makes up for that by being huge. Ugh

Sorry. I hoped that it was clearly evident that the tongue was pressing into the cheek.

And I fully anticipated that the added bag would apply to all new Legions. Sig is wise enough to avoid having us old-school guys bitch about lack of fairness.

In all seriousness, I don’t use my Legion case and wouldn’t likely use that new bag. Frankly, I prefer that Sig eliminate the paraphernalia and reallocate the money towards a durable black finish. I love my Legion 220 SAO but would prefer black and none of the branding. But to each his own.

I really wasn’t picking on you - I instead was picking on us all.

On second look, the bag does look rather functional assuming padded enclosure (both sides for the weapon)!

The bag is double padded on the gun pocket. I am impressed with the bag and plan on using it in the future.

I got mine today too and I found myself thinking: "I will actually use this instead of sticking it up in the garage attic with the other gun cases." Good job Sig!

Wait, how did you get that case? What coin?

Sounds like my not registering my P220 SAO Legion was a good thing.

When you register one of your legion series guns they send you a thermal case or range bag and a challenge coin that matches your pistol.
