P365 date?
Hey Sigheads, got a shot locally, at an Oct.2018 mfgd P365. Am I safe date wise? I've read all over the place, the early guns were plagued with problems. What's the mfg date when model was fixed? Thanks.

Can't recall for sure, but I thought June 2018 was the period where they redid things and the stuff after that was a lot better. My first one was from 11/18 and ran fine. Current one is from 05/19 and has been fine, probably had/have about 500 rds through each.

No expert on the 365, but I think Oct of 18 should be fine.

Somebody here knows....

The P365 underwent a major upgrade in the spring of 2018, October of 2018 is pretty much good to go. However, firearms are constantly undergoing changes over the years. Recently, the P365 and XL models have an upgraded striker that reduces primer drag.

Do the box labels have the actual manufacture date or do you have to run the serial number? Thanks in advance.

December 2018 on mine. I’m at 1033 rounds without a hitch. I was satisfied with it being reliable that I’ve got a few hundred dollars worth of custom leather being made for it.

Mine (Feb or Mar 2018) is considered 'early' by some but it had the peening issue addressed and the newer X-RAY sights installed. 600rds through it and no complaints.

I have an October, 2018 365 and it has been great at just over 1200 rounds.
About 3 RTB failures in the first 60 rounds, then 100% perfect since.

Mine was built May 21, 2018 and have been told it was in the first or second run following the upgrade. I’ve run 1,065 rounds of everything from Winchester white box and Speer Lawman to Speer Gold Dot and Hornady Critical Duty without even one hiccup.
