I love the mix-and-match capability of the P250. I have several, and with the exchange kits, I can shoot .45, .40, .357 SIG, 9mm, amd .22LR. I had a .380 kit but sold it.

For carry, I go with the compact slide, a subcompact grip, and compact mags with an X-Grip to give me a compact size pistol without a rail. I carry .357 SIG.

As others have mentioned, the trigger is like a good revolver trigger.

Phone's ringing, Dude.

I guess the problem I have with Double Action only is even though I grew up with DA revolvers my father always taught me to cock the hammer and shoot single action.

As I think I've mentioned, I just took the firing mechanism out of a .380 P250 and put it in a .40 kit (bought both from members here) and now I've put a .357 sig barrel in it... when I go to the range to try this 'new' P250 in both 357 and 40 I think I will also take the 9mm barrel out of my compact P320 and try it too....

I guess it does beg the question of why someone would need a pistol that with a simple barrel and mag change can shoot multiple calibers? Only answer I can come up with is 'gun nerds.'

Yup. When ammo gets scarce, adaptability goes a long way.

Plus there is the fun of being at the range with something nobody else has. Big Grin

Range report... made it to my gun club this morning with the P250 I've mentioned above that is now a 357sig and also has a .40 cal barrel... (uses the same recoil spring and magazines for either)

Pistol functioned fine... I could not do an accuracy test because I chose to go to the rifle range and use the fifty yard bay because no one was down there. Then after running a couple 357 sig and .40 S&W rounds through it I installed the 9mm barrel from my Sig P320 compact in it... using the 357/40 recoil spring and a 9mm magazine I bought from a fellow member this weekend.... pistol preformed just as well shooting 9mm that way... which unfortunately means I now need to order another barrel for this pistol... which I'm not really a fan of... that long double action pull is hard on me. And as with all my Sig pistols it does not take a special handshake with double finger intense tweak after tripping the trigger and praying to the gun gods that you will actually be able to get the slide off.

Wouldn't a comparably-sized P320 offer the same benefits?
