P210A USA
I have had my P210a for almost a year, fired some 5,000 rounds.
Sees the slide has difficulty going to full battery. I must really snap the slide quickly.

I thought the pistol needed to break in, but is seems worse.

My friend bought one around the same time, his is much better and hardly has any resistance.

I have cleaned an lubed, even polished barrel and slide. No better.

Anyone else have this condition?

If it has fired 5000 rounds with no problems I really would not be concerned,it might just have a little tighter fit.

Have you had any problems? Have you tried different ammo?

Can you give a few more details on what conditions the slide hangs up...

During firing the pistol?
While slowly cycling the slide while it’s unloaded?
Any failures to feed?

Of the 4 standards my LGS had on hand a month ago, two of them had some hang up going into full battery when easing the slide home. When firing I would bet it’s a non issue. Funny thing I thought well maybe if the slide hangs up a bit that means it’s a tighter and hence better fit right? Well the two that were smoother with no resistance going into full battery actually had better slide to frame fit, with no appreciable side to side movement. One of the two “harder fit” ones had some side to side play, which I was surprised to see. I came home with the best of the 4 IMHO.

Mine has that small hang up when easing the slide home, BUT only with the mag inserted. I assume the spring tension on the follower was being overcome as the bottom on the slide lug engaged it at the very last bit of slide travel.

Perhaps that’s it. I would think live fire would be fine. I remember seeing the M17 commemorative exhibit similar hang up as the slide was eased down though I was told this was normal as the barrels were tensioned and it appeared online that people weren’t having the issue when firing a round. So really the slide hanging up just outside of battery is seemingly a non issue for most I’ll bet. Easing the slide down I suppose does not tell us much of anything in regards to proper or improper function.
