BBMWI doubt millions. When the Shield came out it took it three years to hit a million. These were not nearly as popular. The P365 line has probably sold more than these, and I don't know if they've hit a million yet. A million is A LOT of guns to sell.

RNshooterMy mags came yesterday. Testing to begin shortly. I will pass on the metal mag catch and just order a couple of stock replacements.

"The designer of the gun had clearly not been instructed to beat about the bush. 'Make it evil,' he'd been told. 'Make it totally clear that this gun has a right end and a wrong end. Make it totally clear to anyone standing at the wrong end that things are going badly for them. If that means sticking all sort of spikes and prongs and blackened bits all over it then so be it. This is not a gun for hanging over the fireplace or sticking in the umbrella stand, it is a gun for going out and making people miserable with." -Douglas Adams

The trouble with fighting for human freedom is that one spends most of one's time defending scoundrels. For it is against scoundrels that oppressive laws are first aimed, and oppression must be stopped at the beginning if it is to be stopped at all. -Mencken

K.O.A.M.I utilized the "backorder" feature after registering on their site on Monday. I got shipping notification for my magazines today. FYI.
What, me worry?

JWFPlaced an order, on backorder, 29 Feb with Shield Arms. I just received the shipping notice that the order is on the way. Web site still shows Out of Stock but my 3 magazines are coming.
Better to BO with Shield Arms than Brownells.
Just another day in paradise.

MikeGLIFinally hit the range today. Ran several different types of ammo through two mags (233rds total) and didn't have any issues.
Ammo shot as follows:
Speer Gold Dot 124gr +p (35 rds)
Fiocchi 147gr XTPHP (48 rds)
PMC Bronze 115gr FMJ (50 rds)
Speer Lawman 115gr FMJ (100 rds)
I'll give these two mags a little more of a workout then probably get them in the carry rotation if they continue to perform.

Is the correct item for a G-43X?

parabellumI'm curious about leaving these mags fully loaded for a long time. How do the springs seem in these mags so far?

I have had mine for just a couple of weeks fully loaded took them out yesterday and ran 400 reloads thru them with zero issues. the springs seem to have plenty enough tension, I do use the uplula just because it's easier to load although I have done it both ways. I'm hoping they keep on performing. I just got a notice that the mags, catches and +5 extensions will be back in stock around lunchtime Friday 13 MST.

If you're willing, do a long term storage, at least 6 months to a year. Thanks.

MikeGLII grabbed two more, though it looked like they'd allow me to purchase more if I wanted to.
I'll check back in once I have them and we can discuss further.

MikeGLIQuick range session tonight, put another 100 rounds of Speer Lawman through two mags, but not without issue. About half way through a mag, I got a failure to feed. Initially did a tap rack with no luck. Ended up locking slide back, dropping mag out of the well. See below. User error? Is it possible the round was not seated on the back of the mag, causing the nose of the bullet hit the feed ramp?
This is what the round looked like as the magazine was removed from gun.

XLTDid you just have that one issue? possible limp wrist? were you doing rapid fire? I ordered 2 more with a mag catch, looks like you have an mp5 ? I have a vector clone love it.
btw I put two orders in for 2 mags each just used different order numbers and cards, few days later 4 showed up. honestly don't think they care probably just trying to keep the hoarders from putting 100 in their carts.

I ordered two more just for that experiment. going to let them sit in the safe fully loaded for 6 months.

BigNCSo how do you know if you need the +power springs? It irks me to think of spending $40 on a mag and it maybe not work without a $3 spring....
