I've seen this image on a couple different online sources today. Seems legit.

Aluminum grip frame with interchangeable inlays? Looks like my procrastination is about to solve itself. That and the model number isn't a gigantic stamp that barely fit on the slide.

I like the looks of it, so is the whole frame aluminum or just the the grip?

hmmm didn't see it anywhere on Sig Germany's website... maybe my non-existent German knowledge doesn't allow me to dig far enough into their site to find it, but seems like it would be blasted on the p320 page if it were true.. Anyways, looks cool but if its true is this a $3000 P320?

huh..not sure how I feel about this...i am guessing Sig America must be involved to provide parts and specs. I am assuming that the 320 platform is trademarked by Sig America?

I kind of like it. I like the grip panel option.

All I know about it is that a gentleman from Norway told me he plans to purchase one when it shows up there this June.

That is intriguing. I would very much like to hold one.

Similar to what Walther did with the Q5SF. I'm not sure if this has much of a place with the X5 Legion out there, unless it is cheaper, but it is neat looking.

Is it just me, or is that thumb safety just a little too close to the slide lock lever? Other than that, I'd love to shoot it just to see what's up.

It appears that's how they are on the P320 with MS.

And, on all the German X5/X6 SAO guns.

Why don’t they make that optics cut more universal? I don’t want to use Sig branded optics. Maybe I like DPP and RMR’s.

Plus do you really have to lose the rear sight to add an optic?

It just seems goofy and a step backward.

Why would it really matter? Like you mentioned it's a slide lock not a slide release.

The concern is that the slide "lock", being too close to the thumb safety, will be accidentally pressed on by those folks who ride the safety with their shooting hand's big thumb. And because of that, after the last shot, the slide catch will not lock the slide back.

It's a competition gun. It's a slide release.

The reason I quit trying to campaign a P226 in IDPA SSP, tiny lever, not where my 1911 hand expected to find it.
Same reason I didn't buy a SAO, although I otherwise liked the P226 SAO whether Elite, X5 Tactical, or Legion.
