??? I see the DE designation for Germany and the CIP for "Commission internationale permanente" as well as the proof house marks but I do not see any date code. Am I looking at the wrong thing? ----------------------------------- Regards, Steve The anticipation is often greater than the actual reward

It's the 'BI'....Right next to the Kiel Proof mark, except in this case 'BI' = 18 ____________________________________________________________ If Some is Good, and More is Better.....then Too Much, is Just Enough !! 12131 Do you think someone at the factory accidently put the wrong date code on the barrel. What pistol did that come out of.

So: BI = 2018 BH = 2017 BG = 2016 BF = 2015 BE = 2014 Etc. ? If so, glad to know that. Thanks for sharing. Serious about crackers

Thanks. Looks like a numeral or other mark when viewed on my monitor (even at 800%). ----------------------------------- Regards, Steve The anticipation is often greater than the actual reward

Don't know. If someone else has a 2018 German SIG with a BJ date code, then your theory is true. This belongs on an X6 PPC. Q
