The CZ P10C has been out for a few years now.

Just curious what the Sigforum experience with the platform has been.

I have a couple. One I turned into a CZ version of a Roland Special. They really are like a better Glock. Good trigger out of the box, great texture on the grip. I have one of the older ones that had issues with the ambi mag release. Mine worked but it was stiff as hell. I converted it to single side like the newer ones using somebody’s parts but I don’t remember who. I have a P07 so it is nice that they share mags.

I would buy one again.

I have the threaded barrel version and it is a fantastic suppressor host! I think the P10c is highly underrated and a very robust pistol. I wish there were more holster options out there. I hope you enjoy yours.

Normally it's an excellent gun...except when it isn't. Let me explain: I wish CZ's repair skills were as good. We have a P10C in inventory that has a problem with resetting its trigger; basically it won't about half the time. We sent it in once and CZ sent it back, claiming that it was "fixed". Our gal who received it didn't double-check to see if it actually worked as claimed (she does paperwork and usually leaves the checking to us) and just brought it back into our bound book and at some point put it back into our vault backstock.

Weeks go by and we finally get a customer who wants a P10C (which leads to our other complaint about the gun; with all of the striker guns now on the market, the P10 has sort of become a forgotten player in the segment) so someone pulls the "fixed" example out of the vault and the customer gives it a once-over. Lucky for him that he did, because the so-called repaired gun was doing the same damn thing with the trigger reset that it was doing before we sent it in the first time.

We nearly lost the customer at this point, but he decided to take the floor model--after we nudged the price down a bit to make him a bit happier about the gun. Suffice to say that we weren't pleased. So the gun has again gone back to CZ USA and unlike the first time, it hasn't had a quick turnaround. At this point we'll reserve further judgment until the gun is back.

Apparently there are some where the trigger bar rubs the “block” (I don’t know what that’s called) and causes this. It’s an easy fix but I agree it would annoy me as well. My guns never had this issue. It seems more problematic when you swap into aftermarket triggers but not always. This wouldn’t stop me from getting one.

I was never interested until Palmetto had the non optic ready versions for $299 back over the summer so I grabbed one. It’s actually very nice, with excellent fit and finish and robust construction. The barrel and chamber are beefy in comparison to other striker guns I’ve seen, if that even matters. The controls are very positive and smooth in my opinion and the trigger is pretty good. Not Canik good, but a bit better than a stock Glock. Mine is settling in between 4.5-4.75# and reset is nice and short and tactile.

Accuracy is every bit as good as any striker gun I’ve owned or shot and sights are POA-POI for me. I don’t feel the need to change them out as the are quality sights, albeit 3 dot which I’m not a huge fan of vs other options.

Mags are slick and as a result they insert smoothly and kick out with authority. Ejection is very positive and consistent and the recoil is much like any of its peers, maybe a bit less due to the excellent ergonomics and pointability.

Like I said before, had they not been as cost effective, I’d have not given them another look, but I thought what the heck for 3 bills I’ll take a chance and—low and behold—I’m impressed how much I like mine. CZ’s just make good stuff from what I’ve experienced and they have a great customer support team so there’s no worries if you have an issue.

I took a Fieldcraft Survival handgun class with my P-10c. No issues, it’s also got some Cajun Gun Works parts in it. Great shooter. I use a P-10F for my bedside HD gun.

I’ve got 2 compacts and a subcompact. Like them all and no issues.
