So soggy got all bummed out that the recent post about a handgun chart wasn't all-time brackets.

So, I put one together. I kinda just went through mostly chronologically. Had to eliminate some contenders to get it to a proper number (32). I couldn't get up to 64 without adding some clear losers.

I didn't fill in my choices for winners, so you can just print the image below and fill it out.

If you don't like my choices and/or matchups, go make your own!

That's pretty cool!

My final four as the brackets are currently setup, and assuming I get to pick my favorite model of guns like the Glock, M&P and P320 are the Colt 1911, BHP, Glock and Smith 19.

The most difficult match-up for me is the P320 vs. the M&P.

Can't say that I can be much help with this one.

I only have the P226 and Glock to add input on.

Easy, Colt SAA.

Let me know if people are still building copies of the HK USP a hundred and forty five years from now. Wink

I don't see the SAA knocking out the 1911. 1911 on the left, and either the G19 or the HK VP9 on the right.

My bracket came down to the Browning Hi-Power and the Glock (17 or 19).

The winner being..... The Glock

I think it would come down to 1911 vs Glock.

Mine came down to 1911 / CZ75

Could have easily been 1911 / Glock

Either way is a great start to a pissing match.

1873 vs 1975 & 1911, they've still way behind.

Most if not all brackets are done by "seeding". Hard to believe Colt Python and S&W 29 would meet in the first round. Some might have them in the championship game.
And just "Glock" as an entry is puzzling. They are all the same?
Nice idea though.
