For those that are using the metal Shield mags in their 43x/48, and have swapped the mag catch to their metal version, are there any issues using the original glock 10rd mags? Is the metal catch chewing up/wearing the ploy mags? Have a 43X on order.

I am using the shield arms in both my 43x and 48. I’ve had no issues with OEM mag or shield arms mag. I like the stippling and the slightly longer length.
Various posters here reported that the metal catch tore up their Glock OEM magazines.
I put the metal mag release in a G43X and G48 and haven't seen that problem, though I've stuck mostly to the Shield metal magazines in those pistols, since putting the metal mag release in (because that was the whole point).
I don't anticipate any issues with factory OEM 10 round magazines, however, because I depress the mag release when inserting and removing the magazine, anyway; there's no real additional wear around the depression in the mag, from the release, when the button is depresssed during removal and insertion.
There's not so much motive to use the 10 round magazines, with the 15 round magazine available.
I have several 15 round magazines that are loaded to capacity, sitting, to see what effect it may have on the springs, as reports suggested the springs may weaken. We shall see. I'm using the extra power springs.
I’m using an NDZ aluminum mag catch with my Shield mags. No issues. I’m picking up my Aurora II today so I will be running some OEM mags to break in the Aurora (40 rounds max and the wipes will be done and my dealer will replace them) and will report if there are any issues.
I placed an order for 10 last week (backorder) and they just delivered. So I’m guessing they’re filling orders as they can but there’s insufficient stock to inventory these.
Yup... The Shield Arms mag catch chews the hell out of the stock mag within just a couple insertions. I can only imagine what they’d do to the factory mags if I were to shoot with the Shield mag catch. So, I just stick to the S15 mags, which required upgraded springs that they should come with from the factory.
dont know I tossed them in the drawer probably going to sell them off at some point and time, I have the standard s15 with standard springs zero issues thousands of rounds fired thru them I have 7 total on the list for many more.

Sign up for notifications of it coming in stock. I put a notification on for the 3mag+catch combo pack and it notified me withing a few hours. It was pretty crazy. I'm sure it was a crazy coincidence but maybe just maybe they saw the notification and assembled a combo for me.
