DetonicsMk6Question on P239 grips
Did they ever make the older black plastic service style grips for the 239. Need to find some if they exist.

You might look at the black Hogue G-10 grips. The checkered pattern looks more traditional but I prefer the PiraƱa myself.

DetonicsMk6Thank you! I do have some of the Hogue grips but didn't know if the service style had ever been made.

Very interesting! Looking for the plastic checkered ones similar to the ones in the picture. Any suggestions on sourcing some?

No
The P239 was introduced after SIG began using the pebble finish on their service stocks
Second from the top is a P239 that has an inventory number on it beginning with 4O5-. That is the issue compact gun of the Texas Department of Public Safety. Those are the original stocks that shipped on the firearms

Me too -- I'd say that's the way to go for what the OP wants.
