Hello all, I have a Glock 42 and 43. I like both and do not have any complaints. Both have night sights, trijicon with the orange front. Since I learned how to replace the serrated trigger on the 43 with a smooth OEM shoe, I have really liked it more. Now, I carry it more. My 42 is a great little gun and shoots great for a .380 but I just never carry it. If I need a small .380 I usually grab my RM380 or LCP. So, it just sits in the safe. I really like the feel of the 10 round grip that the 43x/48 have. I don't really need a long barrel, like the 48 but I'm not against it. I know that I could trade the 42 for a 48 and swap the slides on the frames but I could never see carrying the 48 slide on the 43 frame. I am not thrilled with the front serrations on the 43x/48 but that doesn't really bother me. I have found that if I use the strike force mag extensions it feels almost like a 43x/48 but I have nine rounds total in y 43 oppose to the 11 in the 43x/48. I also have to remember that I have the option of carrying a flush mag in the 43. (first world problems, I know) So, what do y'all think?

Trade the 42 for a 48 then use the 43 slide on your 48. I have my 48 set up that way now. Works great.

Trade or sell the 42 since you don’t use it.

Thanks everyone. I did trade the 42 for a 48. $50 difference on my end for the trade. Not too bad I think. Now, my 43 slide is on my 48 frame. Now, I gotta get more mags and ammo!
