My last issued duty pistol was the 320. The 320 was probably my favorite of all issued pistols over my 29 year career. After holding a 320 X-Compact and trying the straight trigger I had to have one. I just picked it up this week and have 400 rounds through it thus far. I will finish up the last 100 rounds tomorrow. I don't know if it's the grip or the trigger or both, but I have been amazed. I wish I would have shot a 60 round qualification course with the first 60 I shot through the pistol, to see if my score would have been better than the 320 that I know I shot more than 3000 rounds through. I do know that after 400 rounds my scores are consistently better. It has been flawless for every round. I even ran some practice frangible through it that can cause some problems in compact pistols from time to time. Not even a hiccup with that ammo. I already have complete confidence in the pistol. I might even try a red dot with it if Sig ever starts shipping their new red dots. Of course I guess it could all go to hell tomorrow with the last 100 rounds. Even though I'm not a betting man, I would probably bet that it will do just fine. Of course I went ahead and finally cleaned it this afternoon (I'm not one to take chances either Now I have to figure out what light I can find to mount on it. That is probably the only negative thing I can say about the pistol; but nothing is perfect and I would much rather have a pistol that can perform than one that can take any light.
