Good Morning All,

I did a quick search and could not find anything this, so I thought I'd ask. I just picked up the X-Carry Legion and the Sig video says the taller front sight will allow you to co-witness it with an optic installed. The question is, which optic? I am assuming the Romeo 1 Pro will do it, but are there others? My experience with the DeltaPoint Pro is that the chassis sits higher and I am guessing it would be too tall for for proper co-witness shot placement.

What are your experiences?

Regards,

Romeo 1 Pro has sight cut outs on it but the DDP does not but you can buy the rear site add on. With that being said I don't like the sig optics and would go with the DDP.

Co-Witness and 'Absolute Co-Witness' are two different things. In this case SIG is merely indicating that you'd actually be able to use the iron sights through the lens of an installed optic. It would be similar to the 'Lower 1/3 Co-Witness' heights commonly available in RDS Optic Mounts for AR15 Rifles, but likely lower than that.

Yes, this is what I am interested in. Lower 1/3 or even lower is okay to just have an iron sight option if the optic dies. Will I ever need it? Problem not, but I would like the option. Looks like I will take a look at the Romeo 1 pro. I have used the DPP on other applications, but I’d like to be able to use the front sight if needed.

UPDATE

I picked up a Romeo 1 Pro at lunch. I’ll get it installed tonight. Hopefully get to the range soon to see how I like it.

Thanks for the inputs fellas.
