God dammit!! I should not do these things.

So unrelated question, how does one start a go fund me? Big Grin

It’s the P01A1, so to speak, I’ve always wanted. Good trigger, not amazing in DA but good. Single action was very nice. Grips and checkering felt great in the hand. Good useable stock sights even if you throw an optic on. Just a good old DA/SA metal pistol and I want one dammit.

Unrelated medical question. What happens to the body if running on only one kidney? Wink

That's the new variant with a firing pin block and a decocker, right? Factory milled for the RMSc footprint? Seems they fixed every issue I had with the original Shadow 2 Compact. If you find somebody who will pay you for a kidney, ask him if he needs another and give him my number lol.

Yes. Specifically having the decocker and FPBS are selling points for me.

The trigger on the Compact is almost imperceptibly better than the Carry but the Carry is what I wanted when I bought the Compact. The optics mount area is different also so I can’t throw my EOTech red dot on the Carry. It direct fits the Holosun 407/507k, Vortex Defender CCW, etc. I’m really glad they came out with the Carry but now I am just selling the Compact.

I got one couple of weeks ago. Mounted a Holosun EPS carry. Felt great in my hand. Ordered a holster specifically for the Shadow 2 carry. I am hoping it will be here in couple of weeks. Purchased an extra CZ75 Compact magazine made by Mecgar locally. Now I have 3 mags. I also purchased a 19-round CZ 75 magazine from our very own Greg last week.

I had few FTF when I initially took it to the range, approximately 20 rounds out of the 300 rounds I fired. . I was using 115 grain MagTech (brass case). I did not clean the pistol prior to the first range trip. I only oiled the slide and rails. I field stripped, cleaned and lubed the pistol after my first range trip. I am ready for the second trip and will be using 124 grain. I will also bring around 300 rounds of my preferred hollow point. Once I get this pistol running 100%, this will be my new carry pistol.

I have a couple of Sphinx handguns, one is a Compact and those 15 rd mags work in the Compact and carry CZ’s. Also, I have a OWB and IWB holster made for the CZ Shadow 2 Compact and Carry made by G-Code that are excellent.

10x,, which specific G-code holster do you have for for the Compact and Carry? I went to G-Code website and did not find anything specifically designed for the CZ Shadow 2 "Carry" model. I saw one for CZ Shadow 2 "Compact" model. If you have the "Compact" G-Code holster, did the "Carry" pistol fit in the same holster? I am worried about the de-cocker on the Carry model pistol not properly fitting the "Compact" model holster.

I already have an OWB holster on order. Still looking for an IWB.

Thanks

I finger banged one. It’s not quite Sphinx level (the DA you referenced isn’t as good, and neither is the reset IMO) but it’s pretty damn good. Thank God I don’t carry metal framed pistols (Polymer DA/SA) anymore or I’d be damn tempted myself.

What am I doing? I'm talking to an empty telephone
