There are interchangeable factory grips, including a small one, as well as an available short reach trigger, both of which are designed to cater to folks with small hands.

Great pistol, similar to I guess a polymer framed 229. Very underrated pistol

Yep.

"In 2019, Cohen was involved in a major legal dispute regarding a 2009 contract to export over 38,000 pistols to Colombia. German prosecutors alleged that the shipment bypassed local export restrictions by routing the weapons through the U.S. division; Cohen ultimately avoided jail time."

I'd like to think my two triple from 12-Dec 2008 were part of that contract but they aren't proofmarked so probably just an overrun of some other contract, who knows. Roll Eyes

I've had a SIG Pro 2022 in 9mm with a Grman frame for like 2 decades, its just as nice as any other SIG Classic P22x.

I love it, it has chanegable grips and shorter reach triggers.

DA/SA Trigger on mine always has felt fantastic and Mec-Gar still makes magazines for them that hold 17 rounds.

Great place for mags for them below (and all mags really)

PS man the Columbian Sig Pro thing basically killed Sig Germany, which is why I don't think of SIG USA as real SIG's......

SIG Germany was circling the proverbial drain long before the 2022 debacle.

Even in 2011 there were rumors SIG was discontinuing the SP2022, technically yes, as production was being moved to Exeter. I have the feeling the Sig Pro was bread and butter for R&D for what we currently see with SIG. They call it the poor man's p226/p229 but it feels more like the poor man's P30/USP. Wink

I bought a barely used (no smileys on the barrel) SP2022 at the LGS for $400 a few years ago. I really enjoyed shooting it--when I was shooting Frown
