Update I Think!!!....Glock 43 Minus Connector??? Login/Join

Update I think;
Well the whole Glock 43 OEM connector issue is very confusing. Glock only makes one connector for the 43 which they call a 5.5lb connector with a part number of SP33564. The connector itself has 33564 stamped on it. The confusing part in all this is it has a "-" stamped at the top area where a "-"/minus connector for all the other Glocks is stamped. Some sellers sell part number 33564 as OEM and some sell it as a Minus/"-" connector which I guess both are correct in a way.
My thinking on wanting to put a minus OEM connector in the G43 was like putting a minus connector in all my other Glocks. I just went looking for a minus connector for the G43 when Glock only makes one OEM connector for the G43.

Well my neighbor and good friend just bought his first Glock and it was a 43. Due to an accident he has issues with his right dominant hand. He can use it but has some restrictions. He's is not real savvy when it comes to pistols he is more into dear hunting and long guns. I was happy with his choice of Glock 43 pistol.

Me having had such good results with installing the minus connectors I decided to order one for his 43 and how him the difference it would make or had made in my Glocks.

Well I tested the pull weight with my trigger scale and it was right at 7 lbs to a hair over 7 lbs. I installed the minus connector and it tested at 6 1/2 lbs. Was very disappointed with the results. All my Glocks average out at 4 1/2 - 5 lbs.

Has anyone else installed the Glock "minus" connector in a 43 and what were the results.

Again this is a brand new bone stock Glock 43 with very few rds through it. Its bugging the hell out of me and I am going to look into it a little further and see if doing some polishing (25c trigger job) with help smooth it out some.

I have never done any polishing on any of my Glocks. Just relied on good lube and a few ds to help break them in or smooth them out.

Yes, and it made far less difference than a minus connector in my G17/19/26/34.

I installed an Overwatch Falx trigger in my 43. It's only slightly lighter than the minus connector and stock trigger, but it's got a smooth trigger face and a distinct wall.
