metricThe single best 25-yard group I ever made was with my father's S&W 41 w/ Clark barrel and red dot, from a bench. Five shots I could easily cover with a nickle. Normally, from a benchrest, it's more like reliably hitting a quarter (assuming I don't flinch).
Most accurate centerfire is probably a Sig P210-6.
That's strictly based on absolute mechanical accuracy.
But, there are some intangible elements that add up to a surprising number of hits offhand, in the real world, outdoors. My little Beretta 71 (22LR) does this. Mechanical accuracy is nothing too special, but something about the grip geometry, trigger reach, and break mean that my offhand shooting is shockingly close to what I could do from a benchrest -- everything falls into place and I get long-range hits that consistently surprise me. Mainly just a case of a perfect fit of pistol to my particular hand, I guess.

DaBullCZ82. I always dust it off if there is an impromptu competition at the range.

arcwelderThat 41 tho.
I own some exceptional firearms. The most accurate others have seen me shoot, is the Swiss P210-6. Some years ago there was a forum shoot, where I drilled a plate right off the batt with that piece. No pressure.
