Not knowing how the election would turn out I bought a CMMG Banshee in 9mm with the arm brace so now I need to add either a good red dot or iron sites so I can go shot it. I'm not looking for the most expensive site nor the least expensive just something in between that affordable and good quality. I'd like it to be something compact because I plan to carry it in a lap top bag. looking for a few recommendations.

How do you like your Banshee? I've owned plenty of AR15 style firearms but this is my first CMMG.

If you are going by the popular vote, I do not recall seeing anybody shooting a bracegun or PCC of recent manufacture with iron sights. It's dots, all the way down.

I'm leaning heavily towards a red dot but figured it didn't hurt to ask about Iron sites even though few people use them on this type of firearm.

9mm PCCs are all about speed and fast target transitions. Definitely a dot. Honestly, a small lightweight dot like a pistol reflex sight would be great in this application...lightweight and minimal bezel to interfere with your field of view. I had a Holosun 407C on mine for a while before I needed it for something else and replaced it with a Romeo5 due to the price. I liked the Holosun better.
