A few years ago I traded a FNS-9 for a gun, traded that gun for a gun, and ended up with a pretty nice 94 P220. Best shooting P220 I have owned to date! Hardly a mark on it, threw on some G10s for a better purchase, pretty happy where this trade ended

That is nice! I still need to add a P220 to my inventory.

Wait, what? |
I carried a 94 P220 for just over 20 years before my agency forced me into a new P220R a few years before retirement. The German piece performed admirably and accuracy was as good at its last qualification as ever. It continues to be a fine choice to this day. “Remember to get vaccinated or a vaccinated person might get sick from a virus they got vaccinated against because you’re not vaccinated.” - author unknown

What are you gonna do with that old thing? . Seriously, I've owned a number of the early P220 pistols and rank them among the best .45 caliber pistols ever made. Just a fine firearm all around.

IMO, the mod 90's P-220's are the best vintage. Everything you need, nothing you don't. Niech Zyje P-220 Steve

Thanks for the kind words I absolutely love the looks of the OE grips, tried to get the closest resemblance in the G10. Even the group in the test target was pretty nice. One 7rd mag was still in the wrapper too. I've had countless 220-Rs, a Scorpion, a 227, none of them stayed with me long.
