I am trying to figure out what is different between these two other than the trigger and the grip frame.
Are there any other parts that are different?

The older Full size model slides were not cut for an Optic sight. I don't know when they started selling them with the sight cut. They also used to not come with night sites but now they do.

The older full-sized models used the standard grip frames with full length dust cover and curved trigger. As mentioned, the older full-sized models lacked the optic cut and had basic three dot night sights aka SIGLITE night sights as standard. The X series includes the X frame which among other ergonomic changes includes a partial length dust cover. The slide has an optics cut (there are several variations depending on date of manufacture). The X slides feature the Xray Night sights, which are higher visibility. Additionally, the X-series that I have seen are flat trigger models.

The P320 Full I got a few years ago did not come with night sites. It has the 3 painted white dots.
I did a quick look on Gunbroker and the lowest the New(not used) XFulls are listed for is around $700 and the New(not used) Fulls are listed for around $500. Big difference for what amounts to a grip module, slightly different night sites and a flat trigger. Maybe also an extended slide catch. I think I would chose the Full and buy a Wilson Combat Carry grip module instead of the XFull if I were buying today.
I see that you're in California though so the XFull may be the only one you can get and it comes with a manual safety as well.

Hi All,
Thanks for sharing so far. In just a moment I will be creating a new thread regarding customizing the P320 Full gripframe, but wanted to 'close the loop' on this thread, and solicit any other insights you have.
I didn't want to influence the conversation so I didn't mention my setup in detail.
I have the 320 full and have installed the Apex Tactical Forward Set trigger kit into it. I've only fired 50 rounds since then but I can clearly feel the difference and am happy with it. As a result, I don't think the flat trigger of the full does anything for me.
I also have a spare top end that has an optics cut and optics installed. I bought the setup second hand so I don't know who made the slide. It is a bit too aggressive for my tastes, as it has cut-outs on the sides of the slide and the front end is cut back in a v shape, like a shark's mouth opening. As a result, the XFull's optics ready status isn't an issue for me.
When I bought mine it was a consignment sale as I am in California and no P320s were 'on the roster' to allow me to purchase them at that time.
Now the XFull is there.
I picked it up and liked the feel in the hand, as it solved one of my pet peeves regarding the factory 'normal' P320 grip frame- the way the frame [at the junction of the trigger guard and grip area] dug into the side of my middle finger.
Oh, and the high beavertail.
It is sounding to me like I really have no reason to get an XFull, but just a gripframe if that is the only thing I'd be gaining.
Thanks again!

Given your comment, I'd agree that buying a new grip frame is the most cost effective answer. But, check out the various other grips module on the market. Wilson makes a good one.

I tend to like all things Wilson, but I have smaller than average fingers and need something with the circumference of the Sig Small size option for the Full grip frame.
I can't recall ever seeing sm/med/lg options for the specific frame from Wilson.
