Really, isn't that absolutely all .22 pistols, though? Are there .22 autoloading pistols out there that'll eat everything you try to put through them?

The only one I've ever encountered is my MkII. I don't know what wizardry Ruger put into that thing, but it's more reliable than I ever thought a rimfire could be. It's even reliable with Remington Golden, which is absolute crap ammo. My MkIV is nowhere near as tolerant.

My Kahr CW380 is VERY picky with 380 in that the brass must have thin rims. Doesn't seem to care about anything else, like bullet profile, etc, but the tight tolerance of the extractor demands thin rimmed 380 brass or the cartridge wont slip up under the extractor claw. I can force it to work with thicker rimmed brass like cheap Agiula 380, but only by playing whack-a-mole with the rear of the slide each shot.

Doesn't bother me because there's only certain 380 ammo i consider worth carrying in this pistol.

My beretta Jaguar will eat everything, though being a 22 ammo snob I rarely use anything like Remington or Winchester, though it did still work with these when I come across the odd box or two of these

My Kimber series 1 gold match. Shot reliably and like a laser with most ammo but there were a few that did not always get along well.

Not every .45 will handle the fine old #68 SWC. I have given up and found a 200 gr roundnose to get the same ballistics without fighting the feeding or loading dedicated ammo per gun.

I've got a S&W 1917 that dates to 1918 that doesn't like any jacketed bullet I've fed it so far. It's one I (think) I discussed on TFL before with a rough bore, no US markings, a Brazilian side plate, and a 1918 birthdate according to S&W.

I had a Kahr CW380 as well that would not feed Fiochi. Seemed to shoot everything else just fine.

I had a 1911 9mm that would not feed my reloads. Every other 9mm that I shoot eats 'em up without any problem but for some ready that one pistol would not.

I took the barrel out and dropped several reloads into it and they would not drop in. (Before you ask...."Yes, every reload is passed thru a go-no-go gauge.") Needless to say that 1911 found another home.

I have an old STI Electra 9mm that I bought for my wife. She loved it.

But it would never get through a magazine without the slide getting almost, but not completely into battery. Would always be about a millimeter short of into full battery.

I contacted STI at the time, and they basically ignored me, then they restructured as Staccato, so they would no longer work on it. (Which is why I will never buy a Staccato product.)

Recently, I took it to a local gunsmith, and he determined that the ammo was getting jammed on the barrel ramp and preventing it from going fully into battery. I decided to see if I could determine which ammo would work with it and just use that, but haven't done so yet. Other than that, it's a very nice pistol.

I had a CZ75D PCR that had failures to eject with Blazer aluminum, but everything else (including Blazer Brass) went through it like oats through a horse.
