I have multiple physical problems with my joints and I am not young anymore. I took my brand-new SIG Sauer 380-365 to the range and shot 325 rounds through it myself on the first day. I was amazed how small the gun is and how soft the recoil is for this small mass. The firearm is easy to rack. I let a few other people shoot it and they were getting very close groupings. The gun functioned well.

2nd Range Day with my SIG 365-380 went flawlessly. I let 4 other people that I know shoot my pistol and they all loved it. Today I and a friend shot:

350 Rounds Winchester White Box FMJ Flat Nose
30 Rounds Herter’s FMJ Flat Nose
50 Rounds CCI Blazer Brass FMJ Round Nose

1st Range Trip:

100 Rounds Federal American Eagle FMJ Round Nose
70 Rounds Herter’s
80 Rounds Fiocchi Target FMJ Round Nose
100 CCI Blazer Brass FMJ Round Nose

While there were some malfunctions during the first range trip, I experienced none on the second trip. I shot the pistol one handed, non-dominant hand with weak grip, 50 rounds. I did not experience one malfunction. The ammo was Winchester White Box.

On the first day there were some hard to chamber rounds and 1 light primer strike and 2 stove pipes (Fiocchi Target ammo) and 2 stove pipes with CCI Blazer Brass. I have problems with 9 mm Blazer brass among several firearms. I then shot 2 boxes of Herter's (made by Winchester for Cabela's) without any problems whatsoever. In addition, the Federal American Eagle, 2 boxes, functioned flawlessly.

It appears the wonderful SIG just need a little break-in period. Now on to find a holster.

I've only got about half that many rounds thru mine right now but I've had no malfunctions at all, ammo was Geco FMJ.

Just curious if you cleaned and lubed between the range trips ?

These little guns are sprung pretty heavy. My well sprung Gen5 Glock 26 hates that stuff. It's like broccoli to it, the amount it chokes.
I'm not sure I'll ever buy Blazer again because there's nothing worse than a brand new gun struggling on weak sauce Blazer brass, even AFTER firing a few hundred HP and Speer Lawman. And then you have to explain to your shooting buddy why your new gun is choking. Roll Eyes

Glad your little gun is comming around. I loved the 9mm when I rented one but went w/ a G26 because of all my G17 mags. The 365 is a darn good little platform.

I cleaned my 365 before I shot it and between range trips. I always clean my guns after shooting even if a small number of rounds. My pistol was very tight before a few hundred rounds went through it. Then is loosened up.

The Sig 365/380 is an absolutely marvelous piece of engineering firearm.
