Glock 19 Gen 6 Threaded Barrel
I would really love to shoot my Glock 19 Gen suppressed but cannot yet find a threaded barrel for it. I reached out to Glock and their CS said there are no plans at the moment for releasing a threaded barrel for the gen 6. Anyone heard anything possibly from a 3rd party vendor? I have searched and have come up with nothing. I would have figured some company would have jumped on this right away.

While not blessed by Glock, it looks like the Gen 5 barrels may be an option?

If Gen 5 barrels work, KKM has a G19 threaded barrel.

Concerned as to why Glock does not support using the Gen 5 barrel?

Nice write up on the Gen6, but it confirms that Gen5 barrel's wont work....

"Barrel Compatibility: Gen6 barrel geometry has changed slightly, meaning previous generation barrels will not be compatible. The initial Gen 6 models will not be available with factory threaded barrels, but they are confirmed to be coming later. "

Does the Gen 6 come with a threaded barrel?

No, the initial launch models do not include threaded barrels. GLOCK has confirmed that official threaded Gen 6 barrels will be released at a later date. Gen 5 threaded barrels will not be compatible.

I think the gen6 barrel has the relief cut on the botton portion. I will see if I can find my glock 19 threaded barrel I have been using in various gen2/3/4 glocks/daggers and see if it fits in my gen6 19.

Not minority enough!
