Placed Trijicon HD Night Sights SG 101Y on my older Sig P-228 went to range Gun shoots low, Trijicon package states these sights or comparable to original sights. Original sights were #8 front and rear. Any ideas why gun shooting low and is not shooters Error

jljonesMy guess is one of two things-
Shooter error is #1 and the most likely.
Number two is some 101 sights on occasion do hit low depending on the interface with the slide. This is usually at closer distances. The remedy is to “shoot the ball” simply meaning align the sights in proper reference and then place the orange dot on the front sight where you want the round to go. This is a combination of the increased sight height and shorter slide radius.

With all the SIGs I've shot in the past, I use Sight Image 3 POA/POI.
