It's smaller in every dimension according to Sig specs online. This looks pretty sweet.

Just got the Sig marketing email on it. Being shown as a "Micro-Compact"

Smaller and lighter than a a glock 43 (just barely), but it holds 10+1 with flush fit magazines.

If this passes the reliability and safety tests, you can count me in.

I will be waiting some time after release, given that the P320 was out for a long while before serious issues cropped up.

Walther PPS M2 specs:
Weight (empty): 21.1 oz
Height: 4.4" (w/ 6 round flush fit mag)
Overall Length: 6.3"
Width: 1"

SIG P365 specs:
Weight (empty): 17.8 oz
Height: 4.3" (w/ 10 round flush fit mag)
Overall Length: 5.8"
Width: 1"

So, substantially smaller than my PPS and 4 extra rounds? I'm most definitely interested!

I would be interested but I think I'll wait a year or two to give it time to work out all the bugs.

I'm interested for the fact that it doesn't use the the 1911 battery of arms.

I'll wait and see, I have a P290. The 365 would have 4 more rounds, a slightly longer barrel, roughly the same weight; but I can't pull up the 290's page on-line for more specs.

Hmm, I cant get the p290 to come up on the website ! Replacement for it ???

I own a P290, and this would be better for slim summer carry. The P320 was too big for subcompact, and with CT magazine restrictions the P365 fits the bill.

Look at the recoil spring, looks similar to a gen 4 glocks.

Thanks! Maybe with the 365, the 290 will be exiting the stage; time will tell. My 290 seems a bit chunky in my pocket or on the ankle, those three ounces less on the 365 may help.

Looks pretty good to me - hopefully they'll offer a version with a safety. Not being a full-time armed and highly-trained professional, like so many of the members here on SF, I'd like to see a safety version.

Edited to add: Per comments in the linked Soldier Systems article - a safety version is in the works - but not soon.

MSRP $599!!! Thats gonna hurt, will probably sell for $500 but still steep. 3 mags are nice but if it goes for $400 it will be competitive imo.
