I would want one as well but the only one I can find is at Osage County Guns for "LE and Military Only" so they won't sell it to me. F'n bastards.

Sure it was Osage? I've been following P320 .45 Compacts the last two weeks on different on-line vendors. The Osage County P320C .45 has been on my Wish List for two weeks and is/has been In-stock. Did a dummy Add Cart today and went through the process...stopped at Place Your Order. I routinely do this to see if there are any surprises with vendors. I didn't see any restrictions at that point.

Their "LE and Military Only" section is separate. To qualify, you have to provide credentials. If you're not LE or Military, then there is no discount. You can still buy the item. Did I miss something? Are you saying that at order checkout they restrict sale of the P320C .45 to LE or Military?

TGS and Palmetto have them in stock. Buds claims they do but have a waffle statement on order times. Nobody has Full Size .45 listed, since they probably don't exist at this point in time. Yes, Sig on-line has shown the P320 Nitron Compact over the past several weeks, but no other models in .45.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, Osage has the full size P320 45ACP pistol available on GunBroker and says LE only on the listing. It also compares me to Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-un when explaining I'm not allowed to buy it from them.

I've never shopped their website.

Now I know why I was confused. Thanks for the clarification.

Not sure if ownership is the same as a few years back. The owner/principal was a SF member and shared a lot of useful dealer info with the forum members.

I have never done anything with GunBroker. Too Wild West for my tastes. Just received five P320 17 rd 9mm mags from Osage, fast free delivery and good price. Coyote bases. Not crazy about Coyote with black grip module, but price was great and they look OK. Only $40.98 each. Everybody else charges 49.98 for black base, when you can find them.

Free shipping on Sig accessories, if over $200. Wonder if the Full Size you saw on GunBroker was old stock. Interesting.

I'm sure it is old stock. I looked for it on their website and it shows up under the law enforcement sales section of their site and there is only one left. It shows as out of stock on their regular consumer section. From what I have come to understand, the LE sku is $50 cheaper and comes with 3 mags and the regular sku only has 2.

The P220 Compact I recently acquired from a forum member shoots great. I was surprised when shooting the P220R ST alongside the P220 Compact. Sure they feel a bit different, but Sig really got the mix right with these old school Sigs in .45ACP.

I just sent an email. I probably wont hear back until Monday.

Response from my rep:

Good morning Neal,

Not at this time.  It would probably depend on if management ever decides to offer the 10mm in a MS version.  If so then we may see a 45 MS.

Thanks Neal. I appreciate your asking for me. I'll keep on the lookout for a used one but I might just have to bite the bullet before they take them out of production again.

Sig Headquarters if you are reading this I myself and several others are hoping for a full size P320 in .45acp WITH THE SAFETY. Many of us are very comfortable with the 1911 system and this would be the perfect "Upgrade" we have all been looking for.
Please seriously consider this. Thanks.

I was finally able to locate a compact P320 in 45acp and happy with it, but I always thought the P220 was the perfect upgrade for the 1911 system. That’s what brought me to SIG Sauer many years ago. It still makes me a better shooter than I am.

And why the increased demand for 9mm Luger over the 40 S&W?

9mm works better overall because shooting speeds and accuracy improve with the lighter recoil. Also, according to what I have learned from the Operation Specific Training classes, what usually stops a perp is low blood pressure from numerous holes.

Modern 9mm expanding ammo can penetrate 12" of body tissue reliably, and because of that it is "powerful enough". 2-3 rounds of 12" penetration is more of perp stopper than 1-2 rounds of a slightly more powerful round that also penetrates 12".
