12131 I know the actual slides are identical but in terms of a working gun doesn't caliber matter in terms of the working gun (i.e. the locking block?)

He asked DA/SA slide vs SAO slide, which implies to me same caliber comparison. Not going into different caliber swapping, which involves a whole different discussion.

I didn't think to mention caliber but I was referring to both slides being 9mm. Thanks to the info that was given I purchased a used P226 9mm Legion SAO with Romeo 1 Pro optic and traded slides with my P226 9mm Legion DA/SA non optic.
