I have always preferred single sided safeties on 1911's. The slide cocking serrations are interesting, going with the "X" theme. And especially I like the GI type guide rod. The barrel looks good, too. All in all, a beautiful gun.

Very nice, Love the BHP cut on the front of slide, and the ball cuts as well.

I have the same gun in .45. Love it.
Then I bought a Springfield Operator in 9mm.
More to come!

I also have an X-Tac Elite in .45. I've been very pleased with it.

The custom 1911 stuff has cost me a lot of money over the years. I had a Kimber series one Super Match which was so nice and capable of so much more than my abilities could produce. Glad I'm back to the 228/226 platform. It's cheaper to feed.

It's a beauty blindref. That company has a line of options and parts like I have never before seen. If one didn't select something standard from their line up, a person could go crazy deciding on a build. I love Wilson Combat guns. A shy pricey for me.

That is a very nice gun. I hope you enjoy it for many years to come.

Very very nice, hard to believe it's 10 years old.
