| Just traded into this nice, like new, Sig P220 (made in Germany) from a local gun show dealer. Don’t know exactly how much I have into it since we did some trading, but he only wanted $575 for it at the show. Came with the correct box and two Sig mags. I took it to the range with this new ACT mag which I like better than the OEM mags. Gun shot as a typical P220 at 15 yards which produced close to one ragged hole. Picked up this set of Altamont grip panels, used off the net. Really makes a BBQ gun out of it. This has the original twisted multi wire recoil spring. Already bought a pack of new recoil springs from Sig. Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated. TJ |

| Congratulations on your new P-220. That is my favorite vintage. Good looking grips too.

| I would get that seller's info and keep in touch. Beautiful pistol at a jaw dropping price.

Who Woulda Ever Thought?
| I love a Sig 220. I used to shoot one against two friends that had Kimber Gold Match Stainless 1911s. I matched them shot for shot but I sure had to work hard. I ended up buying a Kimber too. I sold the Sig but still have the Kimber. |

It's all part of the adventure...
| Excellent find! I have one almost identical to yours. Enjoy it!

That is about the finest mass production handgun ever made, and you got a really nice example of one. |

The Quiet Man
| That's awesome. 220 has always been one of my favorites and that looks like a really nice one. I prefer them without a rail for purely aesthetic reasons and stupidly let mine go thinking I'd be able to easily replace it.
I've got a 220R and it's a great gun, but it just isn't the same.
Only issue I ever had with the ACT Mags was I had two crack at the back. To be fair, I wasn't gentle with those mags and I have no idea how many times they might have taken a bad fall onto a concrete range. They replaced the mags and I never had another issue. |
