Received a 2014 Ruger SR9C from my brother. Is the trigger on these different from other striker fired handguns? When I engage the trigger safety, the trigger snaps to the rear and stays. You have to manually reset the trigger. I did see that trigger reset was an issue with some of these and wondered if this was the case. Thanks in advance for any help.

The trigger safety or the frame mounted safety? Either way you got a problem. If it the trigger safety doing that it has a big problem do not shoot it. Just checked mine when I engage the trigger or the frame mounted safety the trigger stays put (foward). Sound like you may need to talk to Ruger about getting it fixed.
